Summer Vacation...posting late but better then never !


Right after school got out we left for our family vacation. We wnet to stay at Nanas time share in Las Vegas. We stayed there4 days and were so happy to meet up with my brother and his new little family..we finally got to meet sweet baby Skyla. Then after that we headed to the Perrrys, who also live in Las Vegas and stayed several days with them. It was a much needed vacation for everyone! We ALL had a BLAST !!!

Summer Projects...

Haden is such a good little worker. Hes always taking stuff apart to see how it works then putting it back together wonderfully. A little mechanic like his daddy.
His newest project is redoing his and Treas old skateboards. they took the wheels and trucks off,They sanded them, with no help. Then with a little help painted them. I am so proud. Not having endless amounts of money ourselves, we are always trying to teach or kids to be happy with the things they have. These days I think its so easy for kids to be spoiled and become ungrateful. When their bikes have flats they fix them with patches and slime...when they break a toy we glue it or tape it. It might seem silly to some. But to us its important that our kids learn these life lessons rather then think something new will always be provided. Times are tough around the world and will probably only get tougher..I think these life lesson will be so valuable to them when they become adults.
I am a proud mama =)

I have a new baby niece. She was born April 22nd at 6:17. 7lbs 7oz 20in.
We are so proud to welcome her into the family. She is so beautiful. We love you Skyla.

Happy Fathers Day 2011, To my loving Hubby! He is the hardest working ever. So loving and So devoted. Thank you for teaching our children that it is not the material things in life that matter but the love and bond you share with your family.
