How does your garden grow?

Ours has done pretty good so far. We planted late but they are beginning to give us the fruits of our labor. There are a ton of green tomatoes and when they turn red they will be coming out our ears! We have enjoyed watering together and the kids love to dig around in the dirt. And we all love picking the vegis and eating them. Weve made the yummyest salads!! We cant wait for the corn be ready. Next year we want to plant some other stuff , more stuff now that we have found a good area for a garden.

Apples Apples Everywhere

Cindy (my sister in law) Brought us over a great big box of tart apples the other day(im thinking like 30-40lbs, So the kids and I sat down and washed peeled and cut them all up to store in the freezer for pies or whatever at a later date. We also made a few things of apple sauce . The kids really enjoyed it and I appreciated the help.

Jason would KILL me if he knew I posted this photo, but it is soooo funny and cute!!!

He was doing the yards and got way hot so he decided to join the kids in the pool. This is sissys little wading pool. The two of them barely fit! LOL. And sis was so happy he joined her.

Oldies but Goodies

I record movies off of the tv every now and then for the kids since all of their dvds are so scratched. And the other night I recorded Wizzard of Oz! I wasnt sure the kids would like it but thought just maybe. So one evening they all sat down to watch and LOVED it. They watch it all the time now. Definatly and Oldie but Goodie. I took a picture of the kids watching it they were spellbound.

I thought this was pretty funny so Im sharing... For thoses of your who dont already know. Lindy has her own room and then the boys share a room. This is not for lack of space in our home but because they are all big fat chickens! They would all sllep in our room if we let them! So anyways for now we are all down stairs in the little rooms. Anyways the boys had 3 bed in their room but nobody would ever sllep on the top bunk and so I decided to declutter and get one of the beds. I painted ,got rid of the tv and playstation. So now there is two beds since Haden and Trea are always together anyways. Well to my point. I thought this was funny because on the first night in the "new" room all four kids where in there. Jordan in his beed and then the three smaller ones in the other bed. Its crazy that our house is like 5000 sq ft (basement and all) and all four where in one room, three in one bed. (even the cat)

Its crazy shes only 3 almost 4 and she acts like a teenager! This is Lindy posing in her new Highschool musical shirt and buttons! ( totally too big) Shes crazy for highschool musical. She started this all a little after the craze so everything is on sale now and we have been collecting a ton of it. She knows all the songs and sings and dances along. Its so funny and too cute.

My Birthday

I guess this post is coming a little late. But I wanted to post about my birthday. It was June 25th. I had the best day (couple days really). I woke up to Jason had made me a fresh pot of coffee and a dozen roses with the sweetest card. He had to work. Then for lunch that day my Holly took me to lunch at "Something special". I had never been there and it was a very nice treat. Nice and quiet and a very yummy steak salad with the bestest strawberry desert. Then to get a pedicure which I absolutly love to get. Thanks so much Holly!!! And to Mitch for watching the kiddos so we could go just us two girls! Then that night My mom babysat for us So I could go to dinner with Jason. We went to Red lobster and I had lobster,crab, and my passion colada drink, it was oh sooo yummy Too! Mom surprised me with a turtle ice cream pie when we got home from dinner and We all watched movies at home that night. Then on friday night it was moms bday so Cheryl watched all the kids for us Thanks Cheryl!!! and we went to dinner again at moms favorite Fiesta Mexicana. A great time also! And mom and I continued to celbrate by going to lunch on sunday at apple bees and then going shopping at the mall together. So it was a GREAT birthday. Who was it that said birthdays arent fun when you get older???They were wrong!
