Happy Fathers Day !

When I asked Jason what he wanted to do for Fathers day his reply was...NOTHING ! RELAX !
So thats what he got to do. I woke up early and got the coffee going and breakfast cooking he woke up to a yummy breakfast his coffee and the paper. The kids all made him a card they were all so cute nd different. Then After his shower he plopped himself on the couch and watched golf and nascar ALL DAY! Which was just fine Fathers day comes but once a year. I hope you enjoyed your day babe!!! We love you!

I was also able to spend half of the day with my own DADDY. He came over and we made a mexican dinner together and he ofcourse made his homemade tortillas which are the best in the world, and we all love to gobble up every single one he makes! Dinner was great, and I always enjoy having my dad around. Happy fathers day daddy I love you!!!

A Photo Tribute

I so thankful for the two fathers in my life. My own father, and the father of my children. I was looking through pictures today and decided to post a few as a photo tribute to the special moments. I wish I could have posted so many more!!!

My Handsome Daddy, this photo was taken on the beach in mexico . He used to take us there in the summer to camp. Good times!

Love this picture of dad! Hes always so crazy. Im happy to have some of his silly and crazy personality. This was dad on his 60th birthday he was pretending he couldnt blow out the candle just to entertain the kids. Although it went on way too long :) Blow it out already dad!!!

The very special day that Jason offically bacame a daddy.

Our second son "Haden John Sledge" September 23rd 2002 ,one day past his due date!

He showed up screaming! Probably because I was too!


I know this picture is a little much but I love it because it shows him the very second he was born umbilical cord still attatched!!! He hadnt even cried yet. Great picture taking sister!

Our third son "Trea Vaugnn Sledge" May 24th 2007, 3 weeks early

For Treas birth we were at the hospital alone so there wasnt any pictures taken right away. But this picture shows Jordan and Haden meeting their little brudder for the first time. They were so proud! So was daddy. Wow 3 beautiful healthy, baby boys, how lucky we were! And still are!

Our computer crashed so we didnt have many pictures of trea when he was tinny, sissy either! Bummer!

But here is Trea and daddy on the old motorcycle we had. Trea still loves to ride motorcycles! Hes a speed freek!

Growing ,Growing, Growing...

Just thought Id post some pictures of the pests... OH I meant to say Pets!!!
Tia's little babies have grown so fast and our little Chole isnt quit that small anymore either. Next week she goes to the vet I bet shes doubled her weight since last visit, We'll see.
Want a kitty??? I still have two to get rid of!

Vacation

Jason took a week of vaction. We didnt have any big plans. Just taking a trip to the dump with the junk from the basement, fixing the fence so the naughty crazy doogies would quit escaping , and planned for a little painting which didnt get done, and hanging out as a family. We started off with a trip out to the boonies to launch off rockets and a picnic lunch. Ive posted some pictures of that day, but forgot thew camera for all the other "vacation events".
We took a day and went to Durango Aquatic center which was really fun , then to Applebees for lunch ,the kids are only 99 cents on wednesday which was a nice surprise!, then to the mini putt golf and the train museum. We couldnt leave town without a stop at the chocalate factory! It was a fun day!!! We also had a BBQ one night with our good friends the Lybrooks. Yummy food and VERY entertaining , thanks Mitch! LOL. Then the next day they watched our kiddos so we could go on a lunch date which was very nice! Oh and we finally got the garage cleaned out. We filled all four trash cans!!! It looks great we could fit a car in there now (if our car was smaller!) And today we went to the riverwalk park with a KFC picnic lunch. They have a spouting water area which the kids had a blast getting soaked in, sorry no pictures of that either. Its was a good time and we will all miss daddy when he goes back to work!

Baseball
Well baseball is over for the season. We had a great time watching Jordan and his team play! Win or Lose its a great game. This year Jordan played on Mitch Lybrooks team . Mitch has been Jordans coach since tball. And has become a great family friend along with the whole family. This is Jordans 5th season of playing baseball

Our Tiny Dancer...

Lindy has been taking bellet and tap classes and had her first little dance recital the other day. It was such a great show they put together. They pick a disney movie as the theme and this year it was Mulan. Which is oriental. The costumes were so cute. Lindys group was called the "Cherry Blossoms".
I was worried that Lindy wouldnt know her dance when it came down to the show because alot of the time in class she just likes to watch herself in the mirrors. But to my surprise she really did know her dance and did such a good job. It was such a joy to watch her and so crazy that shes just three, and so brave to be up there on the stage! She loves being in dance and talks about her show constantly! She has a dvd of the show and thats all she watches lately. I know there are a ton of pics but I wanted you to get a good taste of what we saw.
