No school 12/19

There wasnt any school on monday. So the boys Had their friend Caleb over to spend sunday night. They love to have him and so do we, because they behave so well together. Then on monday Holly invited us to go to the movie with them . We went to see "Hotel for dogs". It was really cute and the kids really have been wanting to go see it. We all had a fun time!

The sardines in the car on the way to the movie :)

Good Night !

Im embarrassed to say but up untill this week, bed time has been a disaster here at our house. Not from lack of tring , but lack of cooperation. The bigger boys, Jordan and Haden usually do go to bed after being told once or twice and stay there. But to put the younger two to bed, I usually have to go to bed too so that they will go to sleep. In the past every time I try to stay up with Jason , to watch a movie or whatever ,the kids think they need to stay up too! So I end up going to sleep every night at 830 with the kids just so theyll go to sleep.
Trea has been a challenge. He likes to be wherever daddy is. Which poses a problem because, Jasons back is bad and he usually ends up on the floor in the living room right by the heater. So Trea wakes up each night wineing for him, finds him and sleeps by him. And since the other side of my bed is empty, Lindy will find her way into my bed. Dont get me wrong I love my littles and enjoyed them in our bed when they were babies, But they are growing up. Im tired of kids waking up in the night to wining, Or waking up to 4 or 5 or 6 people in my queen size bed. It dosent make for a good nights sleep!!! Im tired of makeshift beds under my feet when I wake up, since they have snuk in in the night with their pillows and blankets. Ive stepped or tripped on them too many times. Theres kids al over the place you never know where to find them! Its time for everyone to sleep in their own bed...all night ! I want to beable to be an adult, stay up late, watch a movie or tv, sit up snuggleing with my husband after the kids go to bed. So... I have made the rule and put my foot down. The boys all sleep in their room in their own beds. Trea and Haden in the bunk beds and Jordan beside them in his bed. On will only a little sniffling it worked! Now I worried a little about sis cuz she doesnt have and bed mate. I thought she wouldnt like being alone or that she would be scared. Then much to my surprise Lindy has been such a big girl and slept in her bed in her own room all alone each night. Shes been so good about it! We are really proud of all the kids ! I did have to bribe a little though. They earn a 7/11 treat for sleeping in their own beds. They love to go to 7/11.We are so happy to have the kids in bed, all at once, with time to ourselves. The change has come our babies are growing up! Its so bitter sweet.

Here is little Trea in his bottom bunk. Haden goes on top. And Jordan right beside. A spot for eveyone!

And Sis in her room "Ala Carte"

Last night it was funny though. Sis had had a nap so she wasnt quit so tired. Still she layed in bed. I gave her her horse and a night light. We could hear her in there talking to the horse and chattering to herself. So I called to her to go to sleep. She said "but mom it looks kinda funky in here" . I told her it was okay its just her same Ol girly room, its just dark! Then she said "well it freek'n me out". It was so funny. I went and gave her another kiss and told her "youll be fine, just go to sleep, love you"! And she did.

Your so VAIN...

Well not you , but us! I love pictures all pictures. I have boxes and boxes from back in the day and now gigabites and megabites of them! LOL. But really even when I was younger and would have sleep overs with my girl friends we would dress up and take pictures of eachother and be silly it was so fun. So now Ive started that with my kids. Im constantly taking pictures of us whenver I can. I love looking back on them. The other day sis and I were in the bathroom painting our fingers and toes and palying with makeup. Having girl time. So I thought it would be the perfect time for some cheesey girly pictures. We had so much fun together. Shes the bestest girl ever!

CHEESE...

Can you make a Taco? We can!!!!

This is the Ultimate "DIVA" shot. Check out Sis she so has the pose down! Wonder who she gets it from? Cracks me up!

We couldnt have dreamt of a more perfect daughter. I love you Lindy Shea Sledge!!!!!!!

A whole lot'a nada ...

Not much has been going on here at our house. Its way too cold to go out side! So we just hang out and find things to pass the time in doors.

Today the kids decidee to have pillow case reces in the kitchen. They are such goof balls!!! They were having a blast just racing and slipping around. Were does the energy come from
!?
Sissy spends alot of time in her room. She like a teen ager and always wants the door closed. She loves her frilly room , being girlie and watching Diamond Castle. It is her ultimate favorite!!! She has the Diamond castle singing Barbie. And she knows every word to every song on the movie. Here is a picture I got of her sitting Oh so close to study their every move!
Paaaaa-lease! Rascal is the most spoiled dog ever! Not to mention hes NOT supposed to be on the new couches. But I couldnt resist getting this cute shot of him staring out the window watching the snow fall. I bet he was day dreaming of sunny summer days just like we all have been!
